Excuses, excuses

In the 2 months since my last post many things have happened.

I said goodbye to my amazing friends, family, and coworkers,  

packed up my Orange County apartment, 

and drove across the country (with cat) in my tiny jalopy.

Upon arriving in Whitewater, WI (my new home) I drove straight to the bank and signed a mortgage contract. Then made three wrong turns, trying to find my new home in the middle of a thunderstorm.

Since then I've started a new job at the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater, made a few new friends, and a lot of messes. As a new homeowner (and now, one of those midwestern women with a craft room I used to so begrudge) I have more than enough to keep me busy. I promise to do my best to update.
